European Olive Tree

For many years I did not like olives at all.  And then I did...I played a Marilyn Monroe type character onstage in 1977 and again in 1984 and she drank martini's with olives.  I of course was drinking water, but the olives were real.  That was the beginning, but now I really like them. The beauty of olive wood is so lovely and I love these old European roots!  I saw a tree in Egypt that was like 3,000 years old.

See extra photo for a little serving olive wood serving/cutting board I got at Trader Joe's for $11.99 at Christmas time.  My brother is getting is for his birthday this month.  He has a lovely kitchen that he built himself that has great windows and wood.  One side can be for cutting, and the nicer side for snacks!  Cheers!!!
