Fabulous holiday

Just back from a fabulous week in Lapland doing wildlife photography.  I love it there so much.  Here is a male King Eider.   I have lots of photos to share. I was so glad I was well enough to go as it was a complete tonic.  This picture was taken at Batsfjord, Northern Norway.  We had two very early mornings 4.20am setting out onto a pontoon floating in the middle of the bay.  Magical watching the sun come up and listening to the ducks.  The first day was balmy at about 0 deg C, whilst the second morning it had dropped to -16 deg C... brrr
