The view
of the front of the house. Bushes of sheets and blankets.
I decided to try to protect my azaleas from the heavy frost predicted for tonight so out came the sheets. The wind is blowing pretty hard so I have all sorts of things (rocks, the garden hose, and pillows) on the sheets to keep them from blowing away. If I can save most of the blooms, I will be happy. If I can't, then I will have tried.
Our peach farmers are very worried. We have some major peach orchards in the area with blooms and some with the beginnings of small peaches. I hope for the best as I love peaches in the summer.
