Thursday: La Crucecita

This is just off the main square in La Crucecita - it's a little more bustling than this photo would suggest but this was a regular view from us as we found a lovely bar with a terrace overlooking the main square.

Finished my first holiday read, John Steinbeck's 'East of Eden'.  It was actually a re-read.  I read it when I was about 19 but had forgotten how utterly brilliant it was.  And I'd forgotten that the James Dean film actually only encompassed about a quarter of the book.
