A slice of Lesley's life

By Lesley

And now for something completely different

This topiary elephant in Chiswick House grounds is a tribute to Sadi who was a real one who lived here in the 19th Century. Along with emus, elks, monkeys, kangaroos and a Peruvian llama.

Things more normal around here. Including a good parents' evening for Anna and Carl and Jackson bickering about what year was the best Pi day. I didn't join in despite attempts to get me to take sides - "mom, can you tell dad it's not cool to round irrational numbers." I didn't. For many reasons.

Anyway, despite not being in the running for best year I'd like to wish all the nerds out there Happy Pi Day.
