Praying Mantis

I'm without my camera today whilst it's having a clean so am using a photo from three days ago. This little fellow was sitting on a black verandah post with his front parts pointing out into the sunshine. I only noticed him (or her) whilst I was cleaning up after the currawongs, so made a dash for my camera to capture an image before he/she moved.
