Sorry if all this sunlight and color is coming as a shock to some of you.  Hopefully you'll adjust to the move to California.  :-)  The b&w pictures will continue but more interspersed.

It seems that Redwood City's fire hydrants are dayglo yellow!  Portland's are orange.  San Francisco's are mainly white.  Interesting the color choices, I wonder how each fire department decides.
