First Steps

These lambs were only minutes old. They are on their feet and the mother is nudging them to the milk supply. I rendered the shot in black and white to spare you the gory reality of birth.

The last of the mild dry days for a while. I worked in the garden all morning before the rain started, but I made very little difference to the chaos.
