Bombus no longer away!

The brief but welcome sunshine yesterday woke several bumble bees from the bottom of the garden. Today under slightly greyer skies they're out and about, building up their strength after the winter hibernation. A total joy to see, and yes they can fly upside down!

Janet too is continuing to gather her strength, and we've managed a couple of short and "relaxed pace" walks about the core village. I'm off now for a "proper walk" before getting ready for tonight's parish council meeting, which I've not really kept my eye on for obvious reasons.
