Checking out the waves

Happy New Year fellow blippers! :o)

I had my first surf of the New Year this morning. Unfortunately, it wasn't a long session due to my forgetting to put some sunscreen on before heading out into the water. The sun was rated at 13 on the Ultraviolet Index for between 11am to 4pm today, with the advisory that shade is sought and that outdoor activities are rescheduled for early morning/evening.

I thought I'd go for a painted/pen and ink look to my blip photograph. The father and son were standing on a sand bar near the Timaru Reef looking at the surfers in the bay.
