Bridging the distance

I decided to wear Manu's delicate bracelet that she'd had made with our names on it and gave to me many years ago. I'd always kept it safe, afraid it would break if I wore it on a daily basis.
But a few days ago, I decided to put it on as I wanted to feel her close to me. I sent her this photo and a message after a gap of a few months in our conversation. As chance would have it, her and L have been going through a lot of grief coming to terms with the sudden loss of a loved one.
I'm glad some instinctive feeling compelled me to do all this and reach out to Manu.
