Ohhhhh...To Be Young and Foolish

And....WE'RE OFF LIKE A DIRTY SHIRT!!! Tradition to say that as we pull out of the driveway. This year it is my wife, my dad, my older sister, and me.

After a couple hundred miles on the Ohio Turnpke (those shysters...$9.25 so far), I thought we would visit a state park. Nelson-Kennedy Ledges S.P.

Before we got there, we pulled into the Ledges Quarry Campground. A shirtless unkept man met us at the outside canopy. Think Cheech and Chong without the hair.

"How ya doin , man? What can I do for ya?"

"Is there any way we can just drive through and take a look around?"

"I'll tell ya what man...all four of you sign your name 4 times on this release form...and you're good to go."

The young boys were glad to oblige my requests for some aerial tricks. The only bad thing was that they just kept refering to me as sir. Respectful...yes...respectful in a grandfatherly way...no thanks.

I put some more diving pictures on my Flickr page, along with some pictures at the state park. My dad forced me to take a picture of him sandwiched between the 2 young bikinied girls.

Spending the night in Youngstown, Ohio...watching our Detroit Tigers.

Dive into LARGE to see the syncro divers. The job I wanted was in the water. A gal floating in a kayak...shouting..."ALL CLEAR! YOU'RE GOOD TO GO!! "Hey....man...I think I could do that. Might even be groovy.
