Happy New Year!

Never again will I wait until the afternoon of December 31st to go to the grocery story. I couldn't believe the crowd. I waited in line for just under 60 minutes to check out with my few items. Then I got home and discovered that the UPS driver had tried to deliver my new phone and won't be back until Friday because tomorrow is a holiday. By that time, it was late in the afternoon. Bob and Gulliver had already gone to the park, and I was too tired and cold to join them. So I blipped this picture and called it a day...photographically speaking. The current temperature is 23 degrees, not accounting for the wind chill, but we're not expecting any more snow for a few days. Hope you are all having a peaceful New Years Eve.

Update on my D40 repairs: The camera was delivered to the Nikon service center on the morning of December 24th. As of today, it hasn't been logged in yet. They were closed for five days over Christmas. I hope they will open soon.
