The storm started last night. First we got some serious thunder for quite some time Then the rain started. We got some pause on rain during the morning and that's when we took the dogs out quickly to be back inside as the torrential rain and stormy winds started. It's been raining for hours. Lots of places / roads are flooded. Luckily we live in the upper Gran Alacant now, so all the water goes down.

Before 6 pm we got another short break from the rain and again took the dogs out. Our building is flooding too. There's puddles everywhere. Including the elevator. There's a huge puddle in front of our front door. Nice to walk out as you get your shoes wet instantly. I wonder how many days it takes to dry. As there's the construction going on all the floors are also filled with rubble. It feels (and looks) like we live in a building that's been hit by an earthquake. At least everything is okay inside.

We've had our share of thunder too today. Flashing lights and occasional loss of internet. Outside pool is flooding too and all the dirt that's been around it is in the pool now.

We're hoping for another pause on the rain so we can still take another semi dry walk with the dogs for the night. The wind has calmed for the night but will get stronger again tomorrow.

The view form our window has varied a lot today as you can see. Sometimes you see something, sometimes you can't much. But It's been very interesting at least.
