One born every minute

It was a right drizzly day today but that didn't put us off going to the farm for the annual lambing day. We put on our waterproofs and met with our friends in the muddy car park.

We had fun sitting in tractors and combine harvesters. We saw sheep, pigs and chickens. The children all got to hold a little chick each and to see a chick emerging from its egg in the incubator. The highlight however has to be seeing a lamb being born right before our eyes! Something none of us had ever seen before and it was a truly amazing experience.

I think I'm going to be a vegetarian now...
