Generosity

This is not the Lent word as it's Sunday today, so no Blip Challenge, but I wanted to get a shot of these beautiful flowers that Rachelle gave me from her garden before they were past their prime. She has really caught the "Gardening Bug" and her efforts have produced this colorful arrangement which she so generously shared with me. The wide open tulips remind me of my mom near the end of her life , when my sister and I did a blip about the difference between a tulip and an Iris as they age. The Iris curls in on itself and looks ugly, but the Tulip opens up more and more and continues to be beautiful, which is how my mom was. Tomorrow is the anniversary of her passing.
