colours

Lovely but busy Sunday. We had friends from up North staying for the weekend. We took them for a walk along the Water of Leith to the Modern Art Galleries. Very much enjoyed the Bridget Riley exhibition. On the way back into town we visited St Mary's Cathedral and admired the Paolozzi stained glass windows. Paolozzi is one of my favourite artists. Really cool sculptures. I didn't realise he made those windows. The boys were impressed by the very dramatic organ music.
