International Day, La Nucia

We are lucky to be living in an International community.
Our neighbouring small town, La Nucia.....today celebrated its International Day in the Sports Hall.......and we went along to join in the fun and celebrations!
Our town, Alfaz Del Pi, will celebrate its International Day in October.
That two small neighbouring towns, in Eastern Spain, can both boast residents from scores of countries...... from within the EU and from the wider world......is probably exceptional.
Countries represented today include Spain, Cuba, Ireland, Ecuador, Iran, Russia, Argentina, Italy, Georgia, Columbia, Morocco, India, UK, Bulgaria, Armenia, Poland, Netherlands, Chile, .......and stalls from the Cancer charities, Pensioner groups, U3A, HELP Benidorm and the Royal British Legion
Today's Blip shows some of the music and dancing on the stage....loud, lively, vibrant, and enthusiastic ....rather like the communities!!
