Smiling at me...?!

We took my Dad for a stroll by St Mary's Island this afternoon (and as the tide was in, it really was an island at the time as the causeway was under water).

I was bending down, looking intently into the tilted LCD screen to take some low-level shots of the causeway disappearing under the water,  when this lovely happy-looking chap came bounding round the corner and appeared on the screen. Instinctively I pressed the shutter - and it made a far more interesting shot than the one I'd just taken!

He wasn't actually interested in me, I've never seen him before and I've no idea even what his name is. But at least he provided me with today's blip. Perhaps he should be called Serendipity...of course maybe he is!  ;-)
