Day 2
Slept from 8pm to 8am and woke to find ice, and deer tracks round the van. A chilly night, but we were okay.
More dramatic scenery on the way down to Ullapool. It's a beautiful part of the country, and not too busy at this time of the year. The bookshop in Ullapool was open so we had a good browse and buy session, then onwards to Gairloch and Poolewe. Amazed to see wild goats and their kids on the roadsides. The kids must have been born early February outside, hazy little things!
Sadly it was too early in the season for the museum in Poolewe to be open, but it was a pretty village for an explore and wander around.
Pitched up for the night at Victoria Falls, in a forestry commission car park. Loving this wild camping lark!
