Looking good

I was trying to capture our local Nuthatch, but it was too flighty, so it’s the Sparrow instead. The birds are looking rather fine at the moment – new feathers and markings ready for the breeding season.
 
I have spent the day surrounded by books and notes – catching up on the research I have done on my Independent Minister ancestor. We’re off on a little adventure tomorrow to find a few relevant locations.
 

And you never know who we might be lucky enough to bump into!!
