Not just any new store...

We went to the new M&S store at Cheshire Oaks. It is the biggest apart from London's Marble Arch store. It is partially constructed underground and with hemp walls which provide natural insulation, rainwater is collected from the roof and recycled to use in the toilets and for watering the "living walls" of plants. The ceiling is an intricate arrangement of glulam, Forestry Stewardship Certified timber beams....

True to form I didn't buy anything - I'm not a shopper.
