Museum of Civil Rights

We had a great tour round the museum of Civil Rights in Greensboro - so interesting and a little disturbing to think that people openly had so much disdain and intolerance for others purely based on the colour of their skin in the not so distant past.

I'm not so naive that I don't know it still goes on today but I still find it appalling.

The tour was so informative. The Woolworths building was key in the movement with the student sit ins and it has been preserved really well.
