Birthday cake

We had an ice cream cake for Mr M's birthday party tonight, and I added the candles. He's 51 now, and officially "over the hill."  The cake was delicious and the party was a success because he was definitely surprised. Unfortunately, there were snow showers all day and into the night and a few of the guests had a harrowing ride home afterwards. But everyone got home safely, eventually.
