PHEW - that was nervewracking.

The Villa scored first. Newcastle were playing badly. Second half Newcastle were better but still couldn't get the ball in the net --- until the 60th minute. So in the end a draw seemed like a good result.

It was hot and sunny - spent most of the first half squinting at the pitch and using my hand to shade my eyes from the sun. Didn't think to take sunglasses. Never mind the sun splitting the rocks - as Shaaamie always says - it was splitting my head.

Hate Sunday matches as on Sundays my bus only runs every half hour. Had just missed one so had a long wait. When it came there must have been about 4o Newcastle fans waiting to get on. So the bus was packed when it moved off. The general consensus on the bus was that Newcastle were sh*te.
