Common Grackle

A couple of days a go an enormous flock of Common Grackles blew into our yard and helped themselves to a lot of peanuts and sunflower seeds and then blew away again as fast as they'd come. Then this morning just this one Grackle arrived entirely solo.

They are wonderfully handsome birds, I think. Not the most welcoming of expressions on their faces though.
