Going nowhere fast

This boat is permanently moored just off the sea wall in Lymington. It's been there for years and never moves. Someone seems to live aboard from time to time and I imagine that waking up to the sound of the waves and the sea birds must be beautiful - it will only be spoiled by the chatter of endless dog walkers and cyclists who use the path all day and every day! However, I can't help thinking that if it were my boat, I'd want to sail it!

It's been grey and drizzly all day today and there's a real feeling of the evenings drawing in. Let's keep our fingers crossed for a little more sunshine in September.
