A thoroughly enjoyable day doing an art course at Allanbank Arts - 'Beginners' Guide to Drawing and Painting'. Hadn't picked up a paint brush since I left college, several decades ago! Six of us on the course and today we each produced a charcoal drawing and two paintings, one in watercolours and the other in acrylics, of the same still life. And enjoyed a delicious lunch! By the end of the day we were all very pleasantly surprised by what we'd achieved!

The day was a 'birthday' present from MrM! He had thought to gift me a flight in a glider, but it's not for me in my rather delicate state. Another year, maybe?!
