plane spotting

We sat in this spot for over an hour.  We were waiting for a plane trailing an artwork.  It was scheduled to pass over us between 12.15pm and 1.00pm.  

When we eventually got home, having not seen the plane - apart from a couple that were too high (and full of holiday makers) - there was a notice on MKArts website to say that the flight had been cancelled owing to “fog”.

The daffodils in front of the Peace Pagoda spell out the age of MK.  Or it could be the number of years until the next flying artwork appears.
