Spring has Sprung

Today's been one of those brilliant days...relaxed but productive. We needed to get the baby a super soft blanket for when he's born, so the 3 of us enjoyed mooching together...what was even better was that we discovered an amazing shop full of fantastic homewear, and a sale on too! Asha got the final choice on her brother's blanket. 
We've also painted her piggy bank, pressed some flowers, done her homework, done the shopping...and then been to a playdate in the park with her school friends and the parents. We had a lovely afternoon in the sunshine, everyone brought food and drink to share...our strawberry kebabs went down well with the kids! It was lovely to have more time chatting with the parents, and not being rushed as we all are at drop off/pick up time. 

All in all, a good day.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Feeling well!!!
2) A family day.
3) An afternoon of chat, kids, and good food...all in the sunshine. Wonderful.
