Anniversaries...

It was the party today for Chris' mum's 70th birthday. A lovely day, with a meal and then games in the garden of a Northamptonshire hotel. Lots of the family were there, including 8 second cousins of Immy and Rosie. Badminton, Croquet, tag and hide and seek all made a lovely afternoon sail by.

It was also our 6th wedding anniversary today. We don't make a big fuss of such things (and only remembered half way through the morning), but it's nice to think back to a great day and count those years past. The blip is the pair of delicate wedding shoes I (Annie) wore 6 years ago - painted carefully to exactly colour match the dress. They were a very popular choice, and more photographed than the bride in her entirety.

Watching the F1 highlights this evening, so don't tell us what happened... :)
