Construction

I was walking in the woods and round by the pond today.  This male swan was very busy building up his nest for this year.  I think this pair of swans did not have success with their nest last year, so lets hope for the best for this season.
I was interested in the technique of nest building. which involves snipping off lots of bits of reed and putting them in the water.  These building materials are then transferred across to the nest.
