Arctic Blue
Early walk and blip as we are out in Leeds to see Romeo and Juliet at the Playhouse later in the day.
There are two ways l can walk into Otley but both ways bring me to pass this now closed factory.
Original built as a mill it later became the site for many smaller businesses,
This part of the mill was used to make bathroom suites but that business closed down over a year ago and is now derelict.
Not sure what will become of it but l always feel a sense of sadness as l pass it.
This feeling is mixed with another as l absolutely love the paint work on this building!
I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful it looks, especially now it that it is peeling and rusting.
Never do l pass it without thinking how much l like it!
I particularly like a drainpipe which l often photograph but have never blipped so I've surprised myself by selecting this shot of the old main entrance.
Putting the drainpipe on extras though.
The shade of blue differs here, l think the pipe is more weathered for where it is sited on the building.
