A Lost Legend

I am truly gutted to hear of the passing of John Surtees OBE. Such a lovely man. He did so much for young drivers after losing his son which has inspired so many. It was a privilege to meet John and his lovely wife at Buckmore Park, Goodwood Revival and a Lloyds Motor Club dinner in March 2013 where he spoke about his amazing career.

I hope his legacy lives on through the Henry Surtees Foundation. See a tribute here.
