Shelter

Enjoyed the walk in to Berwick this afternoon in lovely weather. Once again, had a few minutes to spare before the bus departed, and this time walked down in to Castle Vale Park. This shelter and pond are near the entrance and very close to the rail station and bus stops - a pleasant place to wait for your chosen mode of transport, in the summer at least. A quick shot or two, then strolled up the slope to catch the bus home.

P&P came for a meal in the evening. MrM cooked curry, onion bhajis and prawn and vegetable pakoras - delicious! And for dessert he rustled up a lemon drizzle cake. So much for losing the extra pounds I seem to have gained over the last few weeks. Too much good food and hardly any exercise...
