Mayflower Steps, Plymouth
Elbow were absolutely brilliant last night, giving a totally unpretentious and uplifting performance in a small, friendly venue.
After breakfast, we took another stroll along the Plymouth waterfront, where I took this shot of the Mayflower steps, the point from where the Pilgrims set sail for the New World all those years ago.
As you can see, the spot has been commemorated in similar architectural style to the spot where they landed, which we were lucky enough to visit 18 months ago:

A sea mist blew in late morning to replace the blue skies here (I've tweaked the colours a bit for the Monthly Colour Challenge) so we headed home late morning, stopping for soup and a walk at Killerton, the NT property near. Cullumpton.
