Wooly Heaven

I went to Edinburgh Yarnfest 2017 this morning. I've been looking forward to it eagerly, as my knitting wool stash was reduced almost to nothing. 

That's no longer the case - buying is what this sort of event is all about!

I went with a wish list and almost stuck to it. Which was hard, in such a riot of colour and texture. The rest of the time I went round feeling skeins of wool, silk, mohair, alpaca, camel, linen - marvelling at the variety on show.

 It was so busy there was no chance of finding  an empty seat in any of the cafe areas, and I didn't fancy the floor, so when I began to flag I headed for the door. Time was, I'd have been there till the end, but I was quite happy to come away with my bags of loot.
