Pineapple
A bit of planting - of the lovely red lead primed clothes pole. That postcrete is a wonder - setting round the pole in just minutes. The soil around the postcrete may take longer, I fear.
First coat of Hammerite on, then off up town to join an enormous throng of boring IT types, as the old Bank computer centre will shortly be no more, and all its previous occupants were invited along to partake of a glass or two and of course swap stories of the old days.
But tarry I could not, as tickets had been purloined for a show at the Traverse. Unfortunately it was some sort of youth theatre thing. Juvenile would be a better word. I really don't want to come over as an old grump, but it made me pine for those really exciting tales of how we had to run in 128k main storage. Tell it like it was again, MrP! Did you really have to type the compiler instructions on paper tape? Wow!
