Yard Work

Working in the yard finally getting some flowers and shrubs planted.  Today cracker roses, firecrackers and hibiscus all got planted.  We took a trip to the Home Depot store and got some good garden soil and fertilizer to mix up for planting.  Slow but sure now that any chance of a freeze is over for us here.  We also picked up a can of spray paint.  I found these old hot plates in the uncles boxes made out of decorative iron and tiles.  The iron was rusted so I took the tiles out and sanded the iron down and spray painted them.  Will do the second coat tomorrow.
We still have a ton of plants behind the old house that we have to bring around to the new one but one thing at a time.

Side shot a single Sandhill Crane came to visit today which has been the case lately.  Hoping the other one is sitting on a nest somewhere and nothing bad has happened.
