Today's blip marks my next stage into grown-up-ness... wearing my varifocals :-D This is a tired me - busy day of working then ferrying to and from karate lessons, brass band and football clubs...

I've decided officially a grown up now I need varifocals glasses. I've had reading glasses for a couple of years. I probably spend more time looking for them than wearing them too. These are to be worn most of the time. I'm getting used to the needing to move my head thing, and it is nice to be able to glance up and see far away. I was painting today - that's a new trick to work out. The canvas is close my subject is far away - I need to arrange them so it works properly!
Today I drove not wearing them and realise how soft focus everything is. It's amazing how you get used to it and don't think your eyesight is that bad, until you get new glasses :-D I think I'll be wearing them a bit more now.
