Spring

Back at the Community Orchard today in brilliant sunshine.  Men still working on the polytunnel. The doors have to be made from scratch which meant a lot of instruction reading!
Three of us cleared a huge amount of weeds from round the pond - vast improvement.

Caught up with some local friends this afternoon, I have known since the children were small and enjoyed a glorious day.  No overcoat needed.

Went to see 'The Viceroy's House' last night.  Quite thought provoking.  I was only 7 when Mountbatten went out to India, but I can remember there was a lot about it in the papers.  I came away feeling that he appeared to have been  'stitched up' by Churchill.
