The Money Tree
It was a beautiful day and we made the most of it by taking our friends dogs out for a long circular walk from Symonds Yat East, Gloucestershire.
It's our favourite walk when we've the dogs as there's no cattle and they can do the five miles or so off lead. On leaving the River Wye and trekking uphill to where we started we saw this tree with many hundreds of coins 'banged' in the tree trunk. It wasn't there a few months ago, so it's a new trend; I've not seen this before but it's akin to seeing 'love' padlocks on bridges! It almost smashes the saying money doesn't grow on trees!!!
The blipfoto shows Mrs BB and Honey (A Welsh working cocker spaniel) on th tree trunk. We did find a penny nearby and banged that in and made a wish!
