The salvaged brick border around the man cave patio zone is now in place, looking good.

And there was a very thorough eye test later. All normal apparently, I'm just getting old(er). Now I need to decide whether to stick with outsize Joe 90 frames or roll back the years for some 1970s NHS style round frames, which are all the rage these days apparently.

And I need to record that this morning Ruby accepted the offer from St Andrews. So, from September she will be studying History at the University of St Andrews. Which is brilliant. Testament to lots of hard work and dedication. Incredibly proud of her.
