Wild west wind ... but not of Autumn's being

A wild wind blows across Oban bay, driving showers of hail and sudden flashes of sunshine over the waves. A quick glimpse of the world outside before we immured ourselves once more in a windowless meeting which would end in a substantial majority of members of the Diocesan Synod of Argyll and The Isles voting in favour of the proposed alteration of the Canon on marriage, rendering it non gender-specific and paving the way for equal marriage in the Scottish Episcopal Church.

A good day - and our Bishop and our Dean were magnificent.
