Leaderfoot Viaduct
Today I did a short walk from Newstead to this elegant former railway viaduct then up to the Rhymer's Stone and back to base. It was muddy! I heard my first lark ascending for the year.
This evening G and V came to dinner and a good time was had by all.
I've now added a photo of some of the houses in Newstead - it's reputedly the oldest continuously-inhabited settlement in Scotland (although I guess that there may be other contenders).
