Winter flowering jasmine
It rained today, which was a shame as it was really spring like yesterday.
On the plus side it was still warm for the time of year with the temperature in double figures.
I was a bit stuck for a blip until I noticed the winter jasmine Jasminum nudiflorum, flowering outside my conservatory window. I like this shrub, as it's pretty yellow flowers appear on the bare green stems in the depths of winter between November and March, and shine like jewels in the bare winter garden.
Despite this I have avoided photographing it until now, as I find yellow one of the most difficult colours to get any definition on, I tried really hard to put this right today hopefully with at least some success.
