100 years later

This is the old tynecastle high school building ( ages between 12 and 18 attentd this school but can leave at 16) building which was here for about 99 yrs. The new building is opposite side of the road opened last year making tyincastle school 100 yrs old. (tomorow opened september 03 1912)
After trawling through log books from when the school first opened and matching old registers up with the Commonwealth War Graves records, the research team have so far discovered 14 pupils and one teacher who fought and died on the front line. one of the most famous students of tyencastle (or tyne) is Sean Connery.
