Mary's party

I spent the morning making cakes for the event. Mary likes the film ' Frozen ', so I decided to make her cake with the characters on it.

There were about 30 kids and a fair few parents, so it was quite a busy afternoon. There was plenty to occupy everybody - a bouncy castle, a slide ( a birthday present from her aunty Emma and Uncle Adam ), face painting ( Sav was in charge of that ) and games. With the addition of sandwiches, pizza, jelly and ice cream and cakes, what more could a 5 year old need for a successful party?

Little Alice took most of it in her stride - not keen on having her face painted though, hence the minimal effect.

She also wasn't keen on her cousin Alex's dragon costume, but they had big hugs once he took it off!
