Dingly Dell
I have no idea why I have called this shot 'Dingley Dell'; it just felt right. So I've googled the meanings. A 'dell' is a small valley amongst trees. This spot fits the bill. Dingley - all sorts of meanings, from a place in the doomsday book to a clumsy man. But it works for me.
Actually, I was trying to get the starbursts from the sun, by positioning myself between the trees and setting the f value as high (or low) as possible (I think this is f29).
And just spotted the dog, leaping across the water.
Another Spring-like day in the Lakes.
