Textures - M for Maisiebeth

I set myself a challenge on a recent visit to Chester. I wanted to concentrate on textures and patterns and look at detail rather than a large picture. So I decided that nothing I took a photo of would be bigger than 12" square.
It was a very interesting experience and really made me look at things a lot differently, I would thoroughly recommend everyone having a go at this.
BTW, the M is part of a memorial in the grounds of Chester Cathedral
